The day unfolded pretty simply. Turns out that the problem with the hardware drivers was on our end (still not something I can solve though). The tech guy Paul tacked the error, but he's still working on it as of now. He had to recompile the kernel, amongst other things, we'll see how it goes tomorrow.
I've gotta learn ROOT for when I get my hands on some VERITAS data.
Tomorrow I get to work with some photomultiplier tubes and figure out which ones in the lab are in good shape. This, in turn, is to see if I can build a detector that will look at longitudinal muon asymmetries.
Arizona in 12 days!
