Yesterday I called CAEN in Italy to try and figure out why nothing is working. After getting bounced between every department, I came across the 'hardware guy who knows a lot about the software', who knew essentially nothing about the software. He was helpful though, and emailed me an answer to a problem we were having with the sample code executable. All that said, I think we're about ready to do away with trying to get this to work under Linux.
I saw Star Trek last night at 9:30. I'm going to see it again tonight after I start the 3 day camp at the Cosmodome tonight (my last) with a few friends, after which I will post a full review. There was so much going on that I think I need a second time to take it all in and get a feel for what I think about it. There was also a kid I'd had at Space Camp 2 years ago for a 6 day camp, a crew that Simon and I spit. He remembered me, which I thought was cool, doesn't happen too often. He also remembered the names of his crewmates and some inside jokes. That's the kind of thing I'm going to miss about working at Space Camp. With all the hoopla thereabouts these days, however, I just can't do it anymore.
